Our policies and procedures are situated in our parent’s area and in the main office. A copy of any individual policy can be provided upon request. Please note that when joining The Montessori People Nursery School by signing the registration form for your child, you are agreeing to our Policies and Procedures. We take health and safety very seriously and have instructed specialist consultants to advise us in this very important area. All required risk assessments are carried out on a weekly and monthly basis.
Monthly fire drills, regular fire safety training for our staff and fire marshalls are all in place at the nursery. During fire drills, everyone is required to the leave the building to meet at the designated assembly points.
The safeguarding and well-being of children in our care is the absolute, number one priority for staff at The Montessori People Nursery School.
Our highly qualified, vigilant staff members all have enhanced CRBs in place. Our entire team attends regular safeguarding training and has designated safeguarding officers in place.
We also work very closely with the local authority and Ofsted in this area. Please note parents / carers will be asked to not use their mobile phones whilst in our nursery school to ensure the safety of all of our children.
